Porto Santo is one of the last European destinations to be discovered by the discerning tourist. And with 9 kilometres of almost deserted golden sand it's a wonder that it's kept its secrets for so long. Just a handfull of miles off the Madeiran coast, the two islands could not be more different; Madeira is mountanous with huge cliffs and volcanic beaches whereas Porto Santo is flatter and less well developed. But that is not to say it's uncivilised, there are now a couple of major 5 star hotels here and as a 'getaway' it's unsurpassed.
The Guide has now been completed and went live on August 22nd 2008.
